Profhilo® is not your typical injectable compared to dermal filler or anti-wrinkle. Rather, it falls into a category known as "bio-remodeling" or "biostimulation" treatments.
Developed by Swiss pharmaceutical company IBSA, Profhilo is composed of a unique formulation of stabilized hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the skin that plays a crucial role in maintaining hydration, elasticity and volume.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers that add volume to specific areas of the face, Profhilo works by stimulating the skin's natural processes of collagen and elastin production. It is injected into strategic points on the face, where it disperses beneath the skin's surface, providing deep hydration and triggering a bio-remodeling response.
The key to Profhilo's effectiveness lies in its high concentration of HA and its unique structure. Rather than forming a gel or volumizing effect like traditional fillers, Profhilo spreads evenly throughout the skin, attracting water molecules and promoting tissue repair and regeneration. This results in improved skin texture, firmness, and hydration, with a natural-looking outcome.

Chest wrinkles: Profhilo treatment can improve skin texture and hydration in the décolletage area, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

The Profhilo treatment itself is less 10 minutes and is relatively quick and we use ice to make it more comfortable.
A series of 2 treatments one month apart is recommended for the best result, or a series of 3 if you are over 60 years. For maintenance and to further enhance your results, you may repeat the treatment every 6-12 months.
There is minimal downtime required, however, there is always a risk of bruising at the injection sites as with any injectable, but this typically resolves within a few days.
Results gradually become apparent over the following weeks as the skin's natural regeneration processes are activated.
